The flower’s ensemble effect comes from the interaction of terpenes and cannabinoids found within the profile of the plant with our body’s endocannabinoid system. High levels of myrcene relax muscles, reduce pain, and enhance sedation while limonene—responsible for the flower’s lemon-like scent and taste—brings on the euphoric effects as well as protects the brain from short-term memory nuances of THC. Legend

OG Kush was originally cultivated by grow partners Josh Del Rosso, more commonly known as Josh D, and Matt Berger in the mid-1990s. When the duo transported the plant to the West Coast in 1996 it was love at first toke and a cultural phenomenon was born. In the decades since the strain’s first introduction to the Los Angeles cannabis community, OG Kush has stood the test of time, repeatedly landing on the top shelf year after year for its potency and physiological effects.
